Norilsk Nickel says Bugrov replaces Penny as board chairman

MOSCOW, Jun 20 (PRIME) -- Andrei Bugrov has become a new chairman of the board of directors of mining giant Norilsk Nickel, the company said in a statement on Monday.

“A new board of directors elected at the annual general meeting of the shareholders on June 3 appointed Andrei Bugrov as chairman of the board,” the company said.

Foreign independent director Gareth Penny had been chairman of the board for 13 years, but left the post in March 2022.
